Description
My name is Pearl B and I am a female home carer with experience in providing hourly and overnight care. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of caring for individuals with a range of conditions including mild cognitive impairment, bedbound patients, Parkinson's disease, anxiety, and depression. My ultimate goal as a carer is to ensure my clients feel comfortable, safe, and supported.
Although I do not drive and do not own a car, I am well-equipped with the skills necessary to care for individuals in their own homes. I am experienced in tasks such as bathing, toileting, assisting with dressing, catheter care, and providing companionship. These skills, coupled with my natural attributes of being caring, friendly, and helpful, allow me to connect with my clients on a personal level.
Outside of my caring role, I enjoy various hobbies. I love taking long walks in nature, playing card games with friends and family, and indulging in my passion for cooking and baking. Puzzles and gardening also bring me joy and relaxation. In terms of pet preferences, I am comfortable caring for cats, dogs, fish, rabbits, as well as birds.
My motivation for being a carer stems from my desire to help people lead independent lives. I believe that everyone deserves to live with dignity and respect, regardless of their physical or mental health. It is this belief that drives me to provide the highest quality of care possible to my clients.

She was very supportive in assisting with offering my family, support services with my father on the Tracheostomy tube at the time. She will go the extra mile,to do extra bits and pieces of cooking, cleaning and offering other care support. It was a pleasure working with her.
